Recently I have been inspired by one of my favourite books, Ready Made, to make some CD Murals, I have used my own photography to create this bubbly underwater one. Its one meter square and looks much better in real life than these photos.

For Wedding and Portrait Photographer Ramsy Labassi I designed a brand identity and applied it to business cards, a letter head, a MS Word letter template as well as the website which encorperates image gallerys, information a blog and a client area so photos can be easily ordered.

The Other Side of the Moon

My final year project was self initiated and became an exhibition about our human relationship with the Moon, I called the exhibition The Other Side of the Moon and used glow in the dark inks on posters and in a book that changed the copy from fact in the light to fiction in the dark. I also produced other online and print promotion, a layout for the exhibition and ideas for how information would be displayed within the exhibition which all illustrated the concept of ‘day to night, fact to fiction’.

This D&AD packaging brief was to package an ’Oats So Simple’ ‘chilled
creamy oat’ product which was delicious, healthy and convenient.

Oat So Scrummy are tasty, energetic and fun in contrast to the idea that
oats are bland, boring and uninspiring. Oat So Scrummy is a bold,
refreshing and playful brand which stands out in the market place. It
supports the simplicity and honesty of the Oat So Simple brand whilst
adding a dimension of taste and fun.

This film has had good life. Being first used in the early 90s to then be reused by me in the beginning of the 00s, I recently found the unknown film, cross processed it and found some quite suprising photos including my home made ramp complete with a plastic bag clad neighbour and mine and my matse first ever solo surf trip to Polzeath.

This RSA postage stamp brief asked for a set of 16 stamps which communicates the rich cultural identity of England, Northern Ireland Wales and Scotland. Local festivals, national days of pride, and wonderfully eccentric events all represent unique identities, history, pride and a sense of humour. Each stamp tells a story about the event, and as a set they work together to illustrate the cultural essence of each country.

Yellow Man is a direct mail piece aimed to make people think about
the subject of extraordinary rendition and to boost subscriptions to
Amnesty. On arrival through the post the user opens the fold up paper
man to reveal a small booklet which gives some chilling information
on extraordinary rendition.

I have worked at Mor as a freelance Graphic Designeron three projects, the latest being the design of a publication about a recent Public Garden they designed and made in Crayford. Bexely Council wanted a leaflet that told the story of the Gardens creation and their evolvement with the community whilst Mor wanted a publication which they could use as a promotional piece to give to clients.

Under the Surface at Eden

My installation for the exhibition Inspired by the Sea was shown at the Eden Project in Cornwall September 2010. At the bottom of the wave shape are photos of driving to the beach or cleaning wetsuits, as they get closer to the surface and the top of the wave shape they change to photos of waves and ridding them.

For Falmouth Uni and RELAYS I designed this postcard for the Inspired by the Sea exhibition which will be held at Fistral Blu in Newquay over the BUCS Surf Champs on the weekend of the 16th to 18th of October. This is where I will be displaying my under the surface photography installation. There will also be another photography piece, 2 new short surf films premiered, and live music from local bands.

Absolute Balderdash is a pretty cool game, I’ve played it twice and I came 2nd twice so that’s a pretty good for me I think. It evolves making stuff up and good hand writing skills are needed.

NBC universal is living colour

During the Summer term this year, in a team of three we produced and presented ideas for re-branding of the TV network NBC Universal. We used on and off screen graphics to provide a link between them and their channels. We presented to NBC Universal in their London office to the head of marketing the creative director and a senior designer. They were very impressed with our professionalism, the strength and array of our ideas and our creativity.
